Exeter is located in an ideal location near the Massachusetts boder and just minutes off US Route 95. This location provides easy access to the seacoast area with its clean beaches, to historic Portsmouth with its arts scene and shopping, to the apple orchards of Applecrest and its annual harvest festival, to wonderful ski areas just a short drive away. For commuters, Exeter is within a reasonable drive from Boston or just another stop on the regular commuter rail leaving from the Exeter train depot.
